Muddy. That's what the dog park was today. Muddy.
And Jack likes mud.
And mud likes Jack.
They stick together like birds of a feather!
Lucky me.
Jack is a chocolate lab.
Mud blends in real well with him.
He didn't wallow around in the mud today, although he ran through it several times.
I wiped his feet.
I though he was fairly clean before entering
my bedroom and
hopping on my bed.
Wrong.
Today will be the third washing of my bed cover this week.
A few months ago I decided to cover my down comforter with a sheet.
At least that was a good decision!

Boy do I understand. I have 3 cats who own my bed. A very L O N G time ago I had a pretty bedspread. They got fur on it, they vomited on it, you get the picture!!! I now have it covered with dollar store throws! I can wash them w/o a lot of trouble.

Oh wow. Dirty doggy prints. Hilarious...as long as I'm not the one doing the laundry.

The sheet was a great idea!

I think the sheet is a great idea too. Mud is no fun...but they love it don't they? Hope you have a great weekend.

When I first saw the picture of the mud, I found myself craving rocky road brownies! When I realized it was mud, I was disgusted with myself. Oh well, it was a nice crave for a moment.
Gotta love the dogs! They are man's best friend but they don't know how to clean up after themselves. Kinda like my 18 year old son!

Oh the muddy season. Such a pain. We probably won't see mud for at least 4 months.

I'm SO tired of picking up wet leaves off my floor - they're like static electricity and stick to my dogs every time they go out! Grrrr - great idea about the sheet over the bedspread though!! ♥

I'm tired of mud too, and am looking forward to spring more than I ever have before.

Well thank heavens! I saw this mud and thought I'd have to hop right off for fear there would be mud wrestling or something involved... close call! And cute post!

Oh, I feel your pain with the mud! So tired of it. Our two dogs feel they have to dig in it and track inside for mom. Just like Jack - so thoughtful they are :) -Tammy
