Let's all pray for Haiti. Pray that parents will find their children, hopefully unharmed, pray that children will find their parents alive. Even though this is such a poverty stricken country they still have dreams of a better life for themselves and their children.
Living in an area of the country where we live on an earthquake fault line, I have often thought through the years what I would do if this ever happened and I have absolutely no answer. We have always tried to be prepared for something like this, but if and when it does happen, I have no clue as to what I would do. I pray for strength for the Haitians, because that is what I would need for me if I were in their situation. And I thank God I am not. At least not today.

I didn't even know this happened until I saw it on my MSN home page this afternoon. I wonder about the simple things we take for granted like what are they going to eat for supper, where will they get a drink of water, how will they communicate with those outside of their area??? It's all too much and it just breaks my heart. Thank you for taking time out to do a post for prayer for them because yes they do need it.

It is just soooo sad. They keep showing it on the news and talking about how many could have possibly been killed. Just heartbreaking.

I've been following the news on this. So very sad to see children sitting alone, probably having no idea where their parents are.

Incredibly sad. The news is pretty graffic, I hate seeing those little kids. Makes me want to go there and hug them.

The devastation reminds me of the twin towers on 9/11...
