Help me! Will someone help me please?
I am in a full blown rice rut!
(would you say rice rut 10 times fast please)
Since Monday I have served my family pork fried rice,
rice a roni and tonight I made
Pioneer Womans mexican rice.
And you know what? Not a complaint has been uttered
from any ones lips in my family. It's just that when I was
in the water closet taking care of business
it dawned on me that we have had
rice three out of 4 days and the reason we didn't have it
the other day was that I didn't cook. So there!!!!!
I need ideas folks. I seem to only turn to potatoes and rice
for side dishes.
Could someone, anyone, steer me in another direction?
There just hasta be something else to go with veggies and
the main dish, there just hasta!
Any great(or even just mediocre) ideas would be greatly
appreciated!
Thanks!
Sincerely,
The management!

As a carb lover, I'm only going to be able to offer another carb option and that would be noodles! ;)

well, indians love chqppati or poori as side dish for their main meal, maybe you can give that a try or go for the whole indian galore of curry...lol!

My family loves rice and I hardly ever make it...I'm going to make some this weekend. We usually have potato side dishes or just veggies.

Have a great weekend.

Just found a great recipe about cauliflower with nuts and cranberries...not sure where I found it though but it's sounds wonderful.
One of my favorites is sauteed spinach in olive oil with garlic and pine nuts; when finished, sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
